New tooling has allowed crucial development in the cut process providing an instrument of superior tuning with easier playability.

Howard Tuneable Heads offer an improved finish for smoother playability and a balanced, refined tone. These heads are meticulously handcrafted, ensuring a smooth internal structure with minimal air friction. Unlike 3D printed or poorly finished metal heads, Howard heads maintain superior airflow quality.

Crafted over four decades by master craftsman Brian Howard, the Howard Low Whistle has continuously evolved to deliver an affordable, professional-grade instrument. Recent innovations, led by instrument maker and sound engineer David O’Hagan, have elevated the Howard Low Whistle's performance.

The Howard Low D Whistle, measuring 55cm in length, is the latest rendition. It features a black burnished brass body with a specially designed plastic mouthpiece. The revamped design and precise manufacturing techniques result in superior tuning and enhanced playability.
